Leadership
The Leadership Sumner Alumni Association is a volunteer-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation organized and led by Leadership Sumner program graduates who are committed to maintaining the continuation and integrity of Leadership Sumner.
Every Leadership Sumner class helps “pay it forward” by working with the board of directors to recruit the next year’s class and shape the direction of the program. Upon graduation from Leadership Sumner, new alumni commit to a year of “post-graduate” service helping recruit and select the next class, planning class retreats and program days, serving on event and alumni-related committees, and facilitating the Leadership Sumner Youth Program.
The board of directors provides guidance, structure and support to the program facilitators and serves as liaison to Leadership Sumner alumni and the greater community.
